Families and community members are invited downtown to meet newsUniversity's men's and women's basketball teams, and enjoy games, food, and music on Sherman Town Green.
newsUniversity Athletics is hosting the third annual Meet the Stags event from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct 22, on Sherman Town Green in downtown 精东传媒.
Men's and women's basketball players, spirit squads, and Lucas the Stag will be on hand for games, giveaways, refreshments, music, and fun for all members of the community. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2024-25 basketball teams, get autographs from the student-athletes, and take photos with Lucas the Stag.
As part of newsRestaurant Week, Stags Hospitality will drive their famous Stag Shack food truck to the green and will be serving up delicious cheeseburger sliders, pretzel nuggets, and funnel cakes - along with hot chocolate and cold cider.
